AlomWare Reset is a tool that can 'reboot' Windows much faster than the built-in Reboot mechanism.
If your Windows PC is running sluggish it can sometimes help to reboot. Once the system is rebooted, things can run more smoothly but the reboot process can take a long time for some users.
AlomWare Reset provides a workaround of sorts. Basically, it manually closes all visibly apps and Windows, it kills processes, frees up memory, clears the clipboard and so on, and leaves you with a fresh Desktop.
NOTE: While this will no doubt have much of the same benefits of a full reboot, you should not use this as an alternative when you are prompted to reboot by Windows Update, or after installing new software, as some processes can only be run while the System is in the early stages of booting.
