Apple has confirmed that macOS 28, to be released in 2027, will remove Rosetta 2 compatibility mode from Macs. After the change, thousands of applications will stop working.
Apple and Intel have signed a preliminary cooperation agreement, under which Intel will begin manufacturing some of Apple's processors. The agreement diversifies Apple's supply chain and supports the growth of Intel's foundry business.
